It is at home in our European forests. And even though most people will probably never see it in the wild in their lifetime, everyone knows it. Because the shy, usually nocturnal predator with its strong physique and distinctive fur pattern is simply unmistakable and somehow cosy. Alert and yet in no way threatening. On the contrary.
Just like this glass version, the prime example of the European badger, so to speak: here, the furry forest dweller appears to be strolling through the tall grass in a friendly and curious manner. With one front paw already raised boldly for the next step, it remains on all fours, sorry three, in the middle of a patch of glistening winter glade. The characteristic fur on the legs and belly shimmers in dark black-grey, while the back appears much lighter with silver glitter. The cute face, including a shiny black snout and cheerful little eyes, is striped white and black.
