Decorating the home with colourfully painted hen's eggs has been a tradition at Easter for ages. However, the Easter bush looks particularly elegant with hand-blown eggs made from the finest glass. Especially when they have been painted as delicately and skilfully as this one.
A fresh, matt white colour forms the elegant base, which is actually reminiscent of an almost perfect hen's egg. Fine brown tendrils snake like branches from the narrow tip, which hangs downwards, to slightly above the centre with the largest circumference. Dabbed onto them with careful brushstrokes: delicate blossoms - in blue or red, depending on the version - that create a marvellous vision of the first trees in bloom with rows of white dots. How fitting for Easter in the middle of spring.
