They are the survival artists of the Antarctic: the emperor penguins, who walk kilometres across the ice for their young to find the perfect breeding ground. Naturally, after so much self-sacrificing effort, they look after their offspring with particular affection.
You can really see the parental pride in this glass penguin. He stands majestically, almost like a rock in the surf, on the glistening snow behind his little protégé, who, by the way, presses his little wings trustingly against his dad's belly. Incidentally, the two tailcoats shine in their classic black and white colouring with the yellow-orange collar around their necks. Fine glitter dust on the plumage also provides glamorous accents.
