Don't worry, your Christmas tree is guaranteed to stay intact - even if you hang the "carpenter of the forest" between the green fir branches. With its characteristic black and white plumage and red headdress, the pretty great spotted woodpecker looks impressively similar to its living model. However, it is made of glass and is only suitable for decorating.
But it can do this wonderfully: because not only the plumage has been lovingly painted on with fine brushstrokes. Black and white glitter elements add elegant accents; a black, glued-on tail feather and a bright red one on the head complete the successful appearance.
