Even though it is hardly ever seen in the wild in our part of the world, almost everyone knows the hoopoe. No wonder, the plumage of the thrush-sized singer, which produces a "u" sound, is simply too memorable - and above all, it is very attractive.
It goes without saying that it cuts a particularly fine figure as a Christmas decoration on the Christmas tree. Here, too, the body of the animal has been painted in a light beige colour, just like in nature. The black wings and tail create clear contrasts with whitish glitter lines. Special highlights: the long beak and the raised feather crest on the head of the noble bird.
