It doesn't always have to be so small: for the hungry, the hot dog is also available almost in its original size. It makes you want to go on vacation to Denmark just as much as it makes you want to visit Scandinavian furniture stores. It's simply delicious.
Half-sliced, the classic, golden yellow hotdog bun serves as a carrier for a sausage and the familiar ingredients:
glistening red ketchup snakes its way over the sausage, the remoulade runs temptingly from the bun and mustard and gherkins can also be glimpsed.
But where are the fried onions? They were probably the first ingredient hidden under the sausage. The order of the individual ingredients is always a tricky one.
