A boozy idea? This Christmas bauble is much more than that. Rum lovers will really get their money's worth with this bottle. Even if it only contains air and the glass body is of course empty, it is still a very special collector's item.
"Island Rum" and "Exclusive Edition" of "70cl" are the promising words on the paper label, which is reminiscent of a large stamp. "Our Island Rum Exclusive Edition was made in distilled in Jamaica" is also written there, along with a red stamp in the corner above the portrait of an older, bearded man. The rest of the bottle also looks rustic and traditional: It is made of brown glass, bulbous, shaped a little like a beer bottle. And at the top, on the long neck? There's a round, gold-lacquered cork stopper.
