Kittens in themselves always make hearts beat faster. When they also peek out of a brown wicker basket, as they do in this glass figurine for the Christmas tree, many a viewer will be smitten.
At first glance, this ball may seem almost inconspicuous, but its design is just too cute: If you approach it from the back, you don't get a hint of anything grand. The oval-shaped basket with its large, flat handle, on which the golden crown for fastening is enthroned, shimmers bright brown. The contents? Well concealed under a matt white shimmering cover, on which little dots have been lovingly dabbed in the same shade of brown! If you then go to the front ... they look at you promptly and curiously: Two little kittens with silky white fur, cute little faces with snouts and whiskers and small, delicate claws on their paws, with which the two little ones hold on to the edge of the basket.
