Christmas bauble:  Love lock

When and where exactly the tradition originated is unclear. However, for around fifteen years, romantics all over Europe have been swearing their eternal love with this increasingly popular custom. How does it work? It's simple: a pretty padlock is attached to a railing and the corresponding key is usually sunk into a nearby body of water, a river, a lake or the sea. It's actually quite simple - if it weren't for the fact that many a bridge or the responsible city council has recently been sweating under the ever-growing, metal burden of love.

Thanks to this elegant Christmas tree figurine, however, this is now a thing of the past: The love lock for the Christmas tree is definitely a lightweight and, in its bright red heart shape with delicate gold glitter details and a black glittered keyhole, looks like something to fall in love with. A cute, freely bimbling key is also attached to its little crown on a filigree chain. And if you look after it carefully and keep it safe, you will enjoy it for a lifetime ...
