French meringue biscuits rock the Christmas tree! Macarons are actually one thing above all else: sweet and delicious. However, thanks to a few clever little tricks, this Christmas treat is not only double-layered and round, but also extremely sophisticated. With its rich, matt red colour as the base tone, it naturally attracts attention straight away. A broad, white glitter line on the rim symbolises the creamy, sugary filling and provides clear contrasts.
Three details have also been applied with a simple yet highly effective brushstroke: two white dots, a broad black line and a yellow square with a line on top. It's clear: everyone immediately recognises the wonderfully stylised front of Santa's jacket with white buttons and a belt with a wide buckle. And just like a real coat, the macaron is only decorated on the front. The back is a plain red colour.
