It carried Lohengrin to the Duchess of Brabant, Tchaikovsky was inspired to create an entire ballet and in England, all wild animals of its kind have been considered to belong to the crown for generations. No wonder: with its beauty and grace, the mute swan has mesmerised mankind for centuries.
White and elegant, its S-shaped neck curving in front of or above a strong, oval body - this is how the noble animal also presents its dreamy side as a Christmas tree figurine. The typical orange-coloured beak, the attentive eyes and the famous black hump that gives it its name have been carefully and strikingly painted on. Delicate white glitter dust and fluffy white feathers that surround the body and wings provide just the right amount of kitsch (without being too obtrusive).
