Apples and pears should not really be compared. But what if we do? Then one thing is certain: apples on the Christmas tree have a long tradition. Pears don't necessarily.
Completely incomprehensible, because this splendid example of yellow fruit is simply made for the Christmas tree. The domed fruit shimmers in an absolutely naturalistic, slightly irregular pear shape on the golden crown. The bulbous body has the typical puckery surface and the yellowish colouring, which still tends towards unripe green, not only imitates the natural model wonderfully. It also harmonises perfectly with warm, golden Christmas baubles.
