Brother of Zeus, the father of the gods, ruler of the water and the seas: Poseidon had an undisputed place as a god in Greek mythology. Fans of the ancient legends can now give him another one - as a glittering glass ornament on the Christmas tree.
On a shimmering silvery rock or artfully piled up mountain of foam made of spray, he presents himself classically with a naked, muscular upper body, mighty, silvery, glittering hair and beard as well as with the famous and characteristic trident in his hand, with which, according to legend, he could cause floods and earthquakes. Poseidon's braided headgear also sparkles in glittering shades of gold to match the colour. The two other details are rather unusual, but by no means inappropriate: the silver-grey and festively glittered fish tail that forms the abdomen and the green snake that the god holds in his left hand and that looks dramatically towards him with a yellow-black gaze.
