You really have to look twice: Yes, this little work of art is a pumpkin, but not a pumpkin for eating. It is, of course, an ornamental pumpkin, which it looks amazingly similar to due to its realistic colouring.
In matt orange tones, which turn slightly yellowish at the typical indentations and even light green at the top of the stem, the autumnal vegetable shimmers with fruity freshness and adds a welcome splash of colour to the approaching grey-on-grey. Particularly artificial: as if it had just been plucked from the plant, the stalk winds upwards in a long, matt green, glassy curl. The transition to the fruit has been dabbed with light green glitter dust, making the pumpkin a chic eye-catcher.
Please note: This glass figurine does not have a crown, which is why it cannot be hung in the traditional way. However, the pumpkin looks great in a decorative bowl or on a tablecloth (not just for Halloween).
