They lived millions of years before our time and yet they still fascinate us, inspire marvellous stories and make us dream. Because they were so huge, so imposing, so mysterious. We are of course talking about the famous dinosaurs - such as Triceratops, one of the best-known giant lizards with its distinctive three horns on its face and the mighty neck shield at the back of its head.
As a glass figure or figurine for the Christmas tree, it doesn't really impress with its size to be honest, but it does with its lovely composition of a wonderfully matt, slightly blotchy shade of green, shiny brown horns and funny, black and white googly eyes, which make the little animal a real favourite and turn almost everyone into a dinosaur fan.
