They are one of the absolute classics of Christmas biscuits: vanilla crescents. Sweet, crescent-shaped and ideally dusted all over with icing sugar. Just like this virtually non-perishable specimen for the Christmas tree, which also cuts a great figure on a culinary Advent wreath or as a clever pendant on a cosy lantern.
The top of the popular biscuit shimmers a light brown colour, as if freshly baked. The underside is a much lighter colour - just as if it had just come out of the oven. A generous amount of white glitter dust gives an amazingly realistic impression of icing sugar sprinkling. A golden crown on one of the two croissant ends makes for an elegant hanging option.
