"Original Munich veal sausage mustard". The lovingly designed label leaves no doubt: it's all about the sausage. And specifically the famous southern German speciality, Weißwurst. Without mustard, the flavour is of course only half as delicious, which is why the true fan naturally hangs the corresponding jar in the Christmas tree.
The blue, matt shimmering screw cap and the golden-brown colour of the jar body combined with the above-mentioned label look surprisingly authentic. Nevertheless, there is definitely no expiry date for this mustard. Year after year, it will - well, perhaps not taste very good - but it will earn many an amused look.
