An owl without conspicuous feathered ears, with a heart-shaped, white face, rather small, black eyes and golden-brown patterned plumage? Quite clearly: the pretty, glassy-eyed animal sitting so attentively on its branch is a barn owl.
And a particularly elegant one at that, where not only the description "golden-brown patterned" is to be taken literally: painted brown, dabbed with white and artfully decorated with golden glitter contours - this is how the wings present themselves on both sides of the cream-coloured body dusted with whitish glitter, which has been worked out in a downright naturalistic way despite the glitter. What significantly enhances the impression: two thin branches have been attached to the base of the owl with glue directly above the fixing, golden clip.
