Parrots are somehow very special in themselves: the funny hooked beak, the slender, elongated body, the droll character and the exciting, colourful plumage quickly turn the parrots into real eye-catchers. However, cockatoos are the crowning glory of the bird species in the truest sense of the word: with their impressive headdress, which they can put up depending on their state of excitement and which always looks like a mixture of royal headdress or cool punk hairstyle.
This glass figurine, whose design is closely based on that of the yellow-cheeked cockatoo, is just as memorable, a real gem: the silky matt plumage shimmers almost completely white, with only delicate yellow shades of colour on the neck, chest and back. Small black eyes and a striking grey beak form the cheeky face. Light-coloured legs with silver-grey claws clasp a green-leafed branch. The absolute highlight: real lemon yellow and white feathers glued to the tail and head create a great wow effect.
