Cheesecake with stracciatella spice or something exotic à la Central American dragon fruit? At the sight of this fresh, shiny treat for the Christmas tree, we're actually leaning towards the latter. Strictly speaking, it's completely irrelevant, as the impressive gourmet art is purely for decoration and not for eating.
It certainly looks great and, above all, colourful with its light brown, freshly baked base, the white cake filling decorated with small black dots and the juicy, deep red berry sauce on top, which has been dabbed white as if with coconut shavings. Sophisticated details: the shimmering golden-yellow physalis with its naturally curved, pale green leaves as a topping and the meandering ribbon on the back of the cake, which looks like it has been painted with dark chocolate.
