Christmas bauble:  English letterbox

It is famous far beyond its national borders: the English letterbox in its most beautiful form. Cylindrical in shape to form a column, nostalgic with a beautiful capital as a finial under the slightly curved roof. The base in the splash water area is practically painted black. And the rest? Bright red, eye-catching and luminous - and extremely suitable as an ornament for the Christmas tree.

Because the popular letterbox is not just large and metallic - it also cuts an extremely elegant figure in small format and artistically blown into shape from glass. In festive red, it shines almost festively and proudly presents the slot for inserting letters, which is edged with golden glitter. The obligatory information plates were glittered white and the discussion as to whether it was a box from the reign of Queen Elizabeth or King Charles was also skilfully avoided: Instead of a monogram, a glittering golden crown is emblazoned on the front. And even the underside of the royal postman is truly impressive: Thanks to the black glitter, it also sparkles discreetly and subtly.
