For cheese lovers and smiling faces: this figurine on the Christmas tree is guaranteed to make you laugh at Christmas. It's a good thing there's a golden crown on top to hang the goat's cheese on the fir branch. Otherwise it would probably have ended up on the festive table ... That's how realistic the delicate piece looks, whose shape is a mixture of cone and pyramid with a flattened tip.
The surface: artfully smeared in white, stained, painted, in several layers: first dark on the inside, then white on top. Just like a real mould cheese with a soft, delicious rind. So it doesn't really need the band. Nevertheless, it completes the perfect look - just like at the cheese counter of a delicatessen. "Chèvre" (goat) is written in white letters on the brown banner, with "goat's cheese" in blue a little smaller underneath. Two green twigs are emblazoned on the right and left and a friendly looking goat's head in profile in the oval of a coat of arms on each side.
