A warm breath of the Mediterranean? Spicy aromas and a hint of cosy Mediterranean warmth? All this hovers around it in the middle of December, when it hangs discreetly but also strikingly from the fir branch of the Christmas tree and whets the appetite for the south: the olive branch, which is lavishly decorated without any glitter dust and radiates a stylish elegance.
Its characteristic, elongated leaves shimmer dark green, entwined around a total of ten elegantly shiny olives. Their colour? Dark, almost black with a hint of aubergine. Just like real olives.
