Christmas bauble:  Lighthouse island

They have long since been remote-controlled and their homes converted into museums or branches of the registry office. Nevertheless, they still emit their vital maritime signals to this day: Lighthouses, the landmarks of the coast, which in the past and today show sailors the way and warm the hearts of many a sea fan with their sight alone.

This white and red, almost classic model is particularly appealing to coastal fans. Surrounded by romantic white-blue lapping and transparent glittering waves, the tower and lighthouse keeper's house are enthroned on a small, matt silver-grey rocky island. A rustic wooden staircase leads up to the small, two-storey house with a brown brick ground floor and silver-white plastered upper floor. The gabled roof shines red above lovingly decorated lattice windows and the cylindrical, simple lighthouse itself is also characterised by a great love of detail. Only a red band adorns the striking structure alongside the wide, red railing, the front of which is characterised by four small windows arranged one above the other. The tower cover shines in black around the blue-painted light chamber. A yellow colour circle marks the signal in action.
