It is one of the classic hunting dogs, is considered to have a particularly friendly character and also looks elegant through and through. Even in the wild, the pointer impresses as a canine feast for the eyes. Not only hunters will love him as a Christmas tree ornament in the fir greenery.
He dangles down from the silver crown in an attentive sitting position, his hind legs bent and his front legs stretched out. The soft green colour under the dog's body is reminiscent of tall grass. The short-haired coat shimmers with a matt-silky lustre on the legs, belly and back, white with brown spots. The head, chest, shoulders and thighs are a typical brown colour. Particularly successful: the painted face with the alert, yellow-painted dog eyes and the black, delicately drawn muzzle.
