Without it, there would be no Christmas. So it's high time to give the "cot" a place of honour in the living room. Made of wood in the stable building, they have long been established. As glass figures in the Christmas tree, they are particularly elegant:

Traditional and artistic - this is probably the best way to describe the threesome, which naturally consists of Mary, Joseph and the Christ child. As in many depictions, the Mother of God is shown in a praying posture, wearing a red robe and a long blue shawl. Joseph holds the burning stable lantern in his hand as a faithful companion. With a full beard, shoulder-length hair, a golden, floor-length robe and a green cloak, he also corresponds to many European-style depictions and paintings. And the infant Jesus also presents himself as he always has: as a blond baby wrapped in white nappies lying in a golden-brown straw cot, a golden, magnificent halo around his sleeping head.
