It has inspired many a bestseller, is a symbol of climate change and a specimen of its kind once became a real crowd-puller at Berlin Zoo. The fact is: polar bears make us weak in the knees. Of course, they are particularly cute as beary babies, as this mini polar bear so wonderfully demonstrates. With its little black eyes and its head curiously turned to the left, it looks cheerfully at the observer. The clumsy little feet or paws are placed in the glistening ice-blue snow, insensitive to the cold, and the legs are set up in the middle of the movement as if for a wintry hike across the ice floe landscape. And the famous fur? It glows white, of course, but not just like that or somehow. White glitter dust sprinkled all over it provides a little wow effect.
