A summery feast for the eyes: this strawberry and cream dream is a true work of art and a perfect dessert even beyond the strawberry season. Perhaps as a dessert for Christmas dinner? It is guaranteed to sweeten the glass decorations on the Christmas tree and for good reason.
Divided into several tiers, the artificial biscuits pile up to form a real treat: Light-coloured dough at the bottom, white and glistening as if sprinkled with sugar and circular like a small tart. On top, shimmering red and as if randomly thrown together - strawberries, to which an exciting play of colours lends a special freshness. Here a green crown remnant, there a lighter-coloured tip tending towards orange, as if the natural fruit had not yet fully ripened. They also peek out irregularly and lusciously from under the next level, a thick, softly shining, white layer of cream, above which the whole spectacle is repeated again, becoming narrower towards the top. At the very top, of course, there is another delicious berry, which in turn leads into the golden crown, which harmonises wonderfully with the golden-brown colour of the pastry.
