Nostalgic fairy tale bauble: Anyone who loves fairy tales and pastel, historical tones will love this figurine. On two sides, the front and back, sublime pictures tell the classic story from Grimm's collection of folk tales. Handel and Gretel, probably the most famous fairytale characters of all, adorn one of the two skilfully designed pages, nestled together like siblings. The girl in the red skirt and the boy in shades of brown and gold stand in the centre of a forest clearing, surrounded by tall trees and mossy ground.
On the other side: the witch in front of her gingerbread house, also surrounded by a trunk or tree. Wearing a pale blue dress with a brown headscarf, she leans on a brown stick while a black tomcat waits at her feet. Particularly nice: a small path winds its way backwards from the witch to the gingerbread house, which wonderfully reinforces the three-dimensional impression of the motif.
