Small but mighty! Or would it be better to say: mhm! Because the sight of this fine delicacy literally makes your mouth water. And that's not all. The salmon fillet probably not only stimulates the palate, but also the laugh muscles, because as an ornament on the Christmas tree, the motif is more than unusual.
A narrow, rosy, smoked strip of the popular fish forms the main part of the culinary composition. The reverse side shimmers simply and elegantly, allowing the focus on the front to take centre stage: two lemon slices adorn the delicious salmon, light yellow in colour and decorated with filigree fruit chambers in a white brushstroke. On top and next to them are colourful spices; matt green mustard seeds or capers and light brown, narrow grains reminiscent of roasted sesame seeds.
