Christmas bauble:  Schiller curl

Friedrich Schiller is undisputedly one of the most popular German poets. However, it is not only his literary work that enjoys an enormous fan base. His hair also seems to have made a great impression on people - at least in Germany - as two culinary delicacies were named after the blonde waves. A smoked dogfish and tilapia respectively. And: a very special, sweet pastry which, as you can see, also makes a great glass ornament for the Christmas tree.

Like a real Schiller curl made from puff pastry rolled into a bag, the glass work of art has been coloured in delicate shades of beige and brown with a matt, oven-fresh airbrush technique. The white cream piles up at the opening like a real cream filling, also matt and whitish in colour. Transparent, angular glitter on the top of the pastry also creates a sophisticated sugar effect.

Note: The Schillerlocke is slightly flattened on the underside so that it can also be decorated lying on a plate, for example.
