Christmas bauble:  Book pleasure

Did you know that there is an extra word in Japan to describe the stacking of books that have been laid out ready to be read later and piled up on the bedside table, for example? Tsundoku is the name and is the perfect word to describe this marvellous Christmas tree figure.

Bookworms and bookworms will now be grinning knowingly, nodding in understanding and warming their hearts in anticipation of exciting stories. The stacked books may not always look so colourful and decorated in gold in real life - for the Christmas tree, of course, it was necessary to draw from the full range: The largest at the bottom, the smallest at the top, so the covers in red, blue, yellow, purple, green, orange and pink compete with each other in colour, always with a whitish glittering side cut. And speaking of glitter: as just mentioned, their spines have also been artistically embellished with golden glitter lines.
